As Emperor of the Republic, I am pleased to report that the 2012 Freedomian Presidential Election is in full-swing. Gervasio Puca and Dylan Knox are the two candidates. Today, Mr. Puca released his first election campaign advertisement, which can be viewed at the official elections discussion. A link has been provided below.

I am also announcing that I plan to propose an Act in the Senate to expand the nobility system. I recognize, of course, that the Republic has noble titles, but what about medals, (medal of honor, loyalty, etc) peerages, and plenty more exciting things. I'll announce it if I decide to proceed with this idea.
