Empire-Republic?

NOTE: Burkland is a republican monarchy so I am not saying an Empire-Republic is impossible.

Could some please explain the Empire-Republic system as used Freedomia. I can't seem to find an Emperor of Freedomia or any kind of national monarchy (yes Georgeton, a province of Freedomia, is a monarchy). I can't find any expansionism or imperialism in Freedomia. Could a Freedomian, probably Mark or Dakoda, please answer my questions?

The titles themselves that are granted by the College of Heraldry and the Earl Marshall, me, and the title on emperor is honorary for life to MWII for founding Freedomia and it is mainly because of the old ways. There is also the four founding houses which have vassals and large fortunes and a hereditary seat in the College of Heraldry. They also hold titles. The main government is mainly a democratic one.

Well, according to our Constitution, we use republic-style and monarchial-style provinces, government posts, etc. As per the latest Constitutional Amendments, we allow monarchial-style provinces. This helps our culture be more unique, and it's fun too.
