The Gerenian Film Institute (GFI) has just created the GFI Awards, in order to raise attention from the public in general towards audiovisual arts, and awareness of the impact that both TV and films have in our lives.
The Gerenian government will award artists from all over the world - from both micro- and macronations - every two months, beginning in June (1).
The amount and categories of the awards will be determined during the next two weeks. After that, people from all over the world can nominate their favourite artists (1), and a special jury will make the final decision, if necessary (1).
The rules concerning the procedures of nominations and the awards to be given will be posted soon.
