Unfortunately, the situation in Homested has not improved. Groups of rebels are preparing to assault the capital of Homested, and the Senate has voted to declare war on New Concordia, noting that New Concordia has taken two Freedomian Colonies. The leader of New Concordia, Joshua Cooper, has not paid a large fine for attempting to start a civil war last January. The Senate has approved a war on New Concordia, and war on the Homestedian rebels may commence soon.
Remember, if you are a soldier, government official, or anything of the kind, "loose lips sink ships!". Spies could be anywhere! Be careful, vigilant, and always on guard.
Citizens, I expect you to do your part as well. If you know a member of our proud armed forces, tell them how much you appreciate their service to the Republic. Prepare your home in the event of a Freedomian invasion! Stockpile food, supplies, and resources! Sign up for the militia! You are the key part of us winning the war, and we are confident you all will do a wonderful job!
It is unfortunate what has happened in our peace-loving nation. But we must stand up for ourselves, and our friends, and stand against our enemies! That must be our goal!
