President/Senate Act

I: President

1) The position "Lieutenant Prime Minister of Freedomia" shall be renamed to "President of Freedomia".

2) The President of Freedomia shall be assistant to the Prime Minister and head of all activities that the Government Departments used to do.

3) All government departments, and the Ministorial Cabinet, will be dissolved, and simply replaced by the Office of the President.

4) The President shall fulfill all duties that the Lieutenant Prime Minister normally did. Government Departments will not exist.

5) The President shall be appointed by the Prime Minister.

6) Thus, the top government positions become:

a) Prime Minister
b) President
c) Commander-in-chief
c) Chancellor-Judge

7) The President shall handle elections, finance, transportation, etc

II:
Senate modifications

1) The position "Lord Chancellor" shall officially be abolished.

2) The Prime Minister shall preside over the Senate.

Senator, what is your statement on this bill? It appears as though you do indeed support the name change, however I'm not certain as to anything else. Would you mind specifying your viewpoint? Mine is that by eliminating Departments and placing all internal administration under the post of President would help prevent bureaucracy in the country.
